These days with many contemporary designs in housing especially kitchens, Indian kitchen is not how it used to be about 20 years back. I’ve seen exceptionally great kitchens of late. But whats still to be updated, I guess is the kind of stoves we use in India. No doubt, the great in-built hobs have made their way to the Indian common man’s kitchen. But that’s again for the regular cooking. If you talk about baking and broiling and other kind of cooking that needs conventional heat / type of cooking is not that common. Or if it is, may be 25% – 30% of the people have good knowledge and use it at least on a weekly basis .

But many companies have indeed come forward to cover that market and make healthy cooking a household name. And thanks to them. For those who already have their kitchen set-up, a little good table-top convention oven can be found at Prestige and they call it the Oven, Toaster & Grill or the OTG. I have it in my kitchen, it’s a table-top oven and I absolutely recommend the POTG 19PCR. A great oven to start with. For those who are constructing their dream houses, or re-doing their kitchens, I would suggest the gas-range with convention. Usually with 4 burners, and a great space for conventional cooking, it’s free-standing.

Hope this is of some help to you.!!! Have a good Tuesday.!
