No bake energy bombs..!!! Quick and easy and tasty.!! 😋
You will need:
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup of quinoa – cooked
- 1 cup of almond butter or any nut butter of your choice
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut
- Mixed nuts – cashews, pecans, almonds, hazelnuts
- Semi- sweet chocolate chips
- 5-6 tbsp honey
- 2-3 boiling water
- A pinch of salt
In a large deep bowl, add oats, quinoa, coconut, nuts, cocoa powder, chocolate chips and a pinch of salt and mix well. And 3 tbsp of boiling water so that the oats get cooked and combined well. Add almond butter and mix well so it becomes a nice thick paste so you can make a solid one inch balls. Add honey if you are ahead on the sweet tooth. Make as many balls as possible and coat it with desiccated coconut or powdered almonds or you can skip this part. You may also skip quinoa if you would like to store it for a longer time.
Quick healthy snack or easy lunch itself.
